The Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce is a membership driven action agency designed to meet community and economic development needs. It is a voluntary non-profit organization comprised of 1,000+ area business, professionals and individuals who have banded together to advance the commercial, financial, civic, agricultural, industrial and general interests of the community.
This organization operates under the direction of a 34-member board of directors that is elected by Chamber members. The Board, serving without pay, sets the policies of the Chamber.
The Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce has proudly been accredited by the United States Chamber of Commerce for some 20 years - and is one of only 500 chambers of the more than 6,500 in the nation to receive accreditation status. fourth quarter General Membership meeting at the
Holiday Inn South on July 10 with approximately 205
Chamber members, elected officials and community
guests present. Robert “Sid” McAnnally with

guest speaker.
